TRASHFAN SPECIAL FEATURE: MTV From Scratch is basically me goofing off in front of the camera, making my own music video just like the ones I love to watch! I took an 80's song I really love and one day grabbed the camera and started shooting! I also like to use exclamation points!!! Ok I'll stop now. The music is from Altered Images, a GREAT but mostly unknown New Wave/Punk band from Scotland. Everything else, the shooting, directing, editing and obviously the enactments, I did myself. If you like it, please leave a comment in the BLOG section of my MySpace, or on the video's YouTube page.
Thanks for watching!

There's an attempt at style here, but it's hard for me to know what the style is trying to say about the message of the song.

I heard about this a while back on the MadKast blog and I'd really love to attend, if possible. I'm not currently a company evangelist, but I'm extremely interested in learning more about the science of "getting the message out" and converting prospects into users.

The text should always align with the picture: show us where Las Vegas and Death Valley

This sounds like a rousing good time. I've recently been interested in learning effective ways to proselytize the masses. Will the baked goods you're planning on bringing be unleavened? Also, will we have the option of grape juice along side the wine? Count me in if you are planning to cover all the most important points between Genesis and Lijiticus?
Blessings to you my dear and Amen!

People in a democracy should not defend a person's right to hate speech. To brand some citizens as inferior to others on the grounds of race, religion, or sexual orientation is inconsistent with the fundamentals of a liberal democracy. When freedom of expression is no longer viewed in isolation of other values we can begin to realise that restrictions are needed.

I think that what Mr Barkhuis had done was extremely wrong.Painting a huge swastika on the wall oppisite you'r "Jewish" neighbor and writing "spiteful bastards" in Hebrew is definately hate speech. That is something that you just DO NOT do.

is crucial and is nearly always overlooked. Freedom of expression should never be used as a justification for hate speech when such principle clashes take place.

You have such retro appliances in your kitchen! Good cuts in the video, right with the beat.
I put up a couple of things (including one of the first California Gay Weddings):

Very cool! The blitz edit handclaps are right on. Maybe a "melancholy" shot or two of flipping through a diary or a photo album? Congrats!
